
The Hirafu Ski Club is excited to host the 11th One-Coin Time Challenge!
This fun timing event welcomes participants of all skill levels—from kids to adults. Whether you ski, snowboard, or telemark, anyone can join! Simply declare your target run time and try to match it as closely as possible.
Participation fee: Just 500 yen per person.
A unique challenge to see how closely you can match your declared time! Everyone is welcome to join.

Please note: If you do not attend the awards ceremony, you will lose your right to receive the prize. However, someone can collect it on your behalf.
Participation Fee:
500 yen per person (lift ticket not included)

How to Enter:
No advance sign-up needed!
Just come to the start point on the day, pay your entry fee, and receive your number bib. Wear your bib during your runs.
Eligibility:
Open to skiers, snowboarders, telemark users—any age or gender.
Must be able to safely ride the course.
Limited to the first 100 people.
Competition Rules:
After your first run, declare your target time and submit it.
You can run up to three times; your closest match to your declared time counts.
Times are displayed in hundredths of a second, but measured to thousandths.
The closest match wins!
Awards:
All participants compete together—no divisions by equipment, age, or gender.
1st place wins a ¥10,000 Amazon gift card!
Prizes also for 2nd–6th closest matches, bonuses for every 10th place, and special awards.
Notes:
・Declared times cannot be changed once submitted.
・Course grooming may be performed during the event, and the competition may pause for maintenance.
・If the event is stopped due to weather or other circumstances, rankings will be based on the runs completed up to that point.
・Please do not use watches or timing devices during your run.
・Participants are responsible for their own safety; organizers accept no liability for accidents or trouble.
・Photos/videos taken during the event may be used for promotional purposes.
・If a timing malfunction occurs, the affected run won’t count toward your limit.
・Missing a gate unintentionally does not result in disqualification.
・Please assist with course cleanup after the event, if possible.
Special registration for the Hirafu Classic (March 29) will be held at the Mountain Center 1st floor from 15:00–16:00, right after the awards ceremony.
