A new facility, “ALPEN NODE”, will open on December 20, 2025 in a convenient location next to the Hirafu Welcome Center, directly in front of the Ace Gondola base station. ALPEN NODE will include a brewery, restaurant, and shop.
The facility features a DJ booth and large digital signage. ALPEN NODE is not only ideal for lunch, but also suited to a wide range of occasions, from après-ski to evening bar time.
♦Restaurant & Taproom Serving Craft Beer
The on-site restaurant “POWDERHOOD RESTAURANT & TAPROOM” offers a spacious setting with approximately 240 seats, as well as a standing area. Guests can enjoy a relaxed meal in the dining space or stop by the bar for a casual drink, with service available from lunchtime through the evening.
♦The First Craft Beer Brand Born in the Hirafu Area
The facility also includes a craft beer brewery, the first of its kind in the Hirafu area, scheduled to begin production around February 2026.
Freshly brewed craft beer will be available for guests to enjoy right in the adjoining restaurant.

“Node” refers to a connection or meeting point.
ALPEN NODE is situated where the mountains of Grand Hirafu meet the town, serving as a natural link between nature and urban life. We hope it will also become a place where people connect and create lasting memories through their experiences here.
The name reflects our wish to carry forward the history and memories of the former Alpen Hotel, weaving them into the future.
