Celebrate the New Year with Kagamibiraki and Complimentary Sake

On Thursday, January 1, 2026 (New Year’s Day), a kagamibiraki ceremony and complimentary sake will be offered in front of the Ace Gondola.
Kagamibiraki is a traditional ritual in which the lid of a sake barrel, resembling a “mirror”, is opened to pray for harmony, health, and happiness.
A limited number of original masu wooden cups (500 cups) will be available. Please enjoy local sake made from the abundant natural blessings of Hokkaido as you wish for a year of good health.
For children, we will be providing snacks and juice.
Please note that alcoholic beverages cannot be provided to guests under 20 years of age or to those who will be driving.
