Have you ever walked through a quiet forest covered in pure white snow? Even those who have never experienced winter sports or who want to avoid strenuous activities will enjoy the Nature Program.

Snowshoe Hiking
Feel the crunch of the snow with your whole body in snowshoes.
Nature Skiing Tour
Stroll through the woods in "snow ramblers", non-slip skis made for walking on the snow. No ski experience required!

Toddlers ride lifts free of charge!

Children not yet of school age (not yet in elementary school) ride our lifts for free.

Toddlers must be accompanied by a guardian when riding lifts.
A security deposit of ¥1,000will be collected for toddler lift tickets.

Family Restaurants

Kids menu items are half the size and half the price at Restaurant Piruka!

At Restaurant Piruka inside the Kogen Ski Center, we offer a family-oriented menu full of curry, ramen and other dishes.
With half-sized ramen only ¥600 and curry only ¥700, the kids menu will make even mom smile!

Kids Lessons Area NEW！

Near the Hirafu Gondola Station we have opened a safe area for taking lessons set away from the general ski area. We also provide a magic carpet lift so even children new to skiing can easily get up the slope to ski.

Group Lessons for Kids and Junior Riders NEW！

Group lessons in English are available for kids (preschoolers) and juniors (7-14 years old).

Parent-Child Pack 5-hour Lift Tickets

A set of lift tickets for one adult and elementary schooler for 5 hours, normally ¥5,800, is now ¥3,900! (The adult and elementary schooler must be parent and child) Additional tickets are ¥3,100 for adults and ¥800 for children. Lift tickets for preschool-aged children are free but require a ¥1,000 deposit.

How to purchase

Purchase a parent-child 5-hour ticket pack from a ticket counter.
Present your lift ticket at the gear rental counter.

Lift tickets are valid for 5 hours from the first time they are used, so feel free to take your time getting your gear fitted at the rental counter.

Kids Room

We have completed a kids room inside the Hotel Niseko Alpen. Now moms and dads can enjoy winter sports worry free. Please be sure to contact us before coming for information about our usage rules and capacity.

Please bring the following:

Please provide diapers and a change of clothes if they will be needed.
We ask that you bring your own hot water for bottled milk as none will be provided.
We provide snacks and tea, but feel free to bring your own food or drinks.

Please note that:

No refunds will be provided in the event the child leaves early at the customer's convenience.
The kids room staff reserve the right to not admit any child.
Family or babysitters of the child will not be able to enter the room and play together with their child: an expert nursery teacher will look after your children.

Lunch-inclusive Lessons for Kids and Juniors(4-14 yeards old)

Our small, well-run lessons are quite popular.
Kids have fun as they learn the basics of skiing.

Add ¥1,500 to the price of an all-day lesson and we will take care of children of elementary school age or younger during lunch time as well, allowing parents to enjoy winter sports worry free.
