Next weekend Sapporo will host one of the world's
biggest snowboarding comps - the annual
Toyota Big Air (TBA). This amazing event has to be
seen to be believed, but with 20,000 screaming fans
watching the world's best riders huck themselves off
a huge indoor ramp for $100,000 in prize money - you
can be confident it's special.

From Feb 4th to 9th Niseko is proud to be hosting
some of the pro riders ahead of the TBA with young
guns Halldor Helgason & Marco Grilc warming up to
Japan right here. The lads are in Hirafu shooting film
parts and for massive European magazine "Method",
as well as for "Australian Snowboarding", so keep your
eyes peeled and you might see them on the slopes or
hitting one of the terrain parks.

This year' TBA coincides with the famous
Sapporo Snow Festival - an amazing collection of huge
 snow carvings standing up to six stories high. Being able
to see both the Snow Festival and the Big Air, as well as
seeing some of Sapporo's sights makes a great opportunity
to see some of Japan and its unique culture. If you are interested
in visiting the Toyota Big Air next Sunday (Feb 12th) you can choose
 from either an organized day tour that will take you down for the
Snow Festival and the TBA then bring you back to Niseko afterward.

Weatherperson said "Today's weather forecast is for stomy weather."
It's windy. But It's clear in the sky.
Weather forecasts were not right.
We will welcome snow toNiseko.
But,we will not welcome stormy weather anymore.(^_-)

It's fine weather this morning.
But, It's snowing now!
Well, Gelande snow accumulation is over 3m.
It's 3m40cm now.
We checked last season's snow accumulation.
It 's 3m50cm end of Febrary ??
This season&last season are same quantity.
I think absolutely this season is snowing than last season.
How do you think?
Middle of March's snow accumulation is 3m90cm at last season.
Please pray strongly for over 4m.
I want to try great powder snow many time in remaining this season.(^_-)

My co-worker and I appered on TV yesterday.
We advertised Grand Hirafu.
I was a little nervous before start.
But I dressed up in a Kogen-kun costume and didn't speak.
So I didn't feel nervous anymore.
